Piedras Negras Municipal Government has issued out an advisory to all United States Citizens looking to ingress into their community.
“Due to the increase in Covid-19 cases in the region, more extensive questionnaires will be implemented on the state of health of visitors from the United States who enter Piedras Negras through both international bridges.”
“For this reason, we ask foreign visitors to cooperate when answering this questionnaire and to be aware that this will cause longer lines, so the crossing time could be extended for several hours.”
“We remind you that in Coahuila it is mandatory to wear a face mask when you are on public roads and those who do not wear it will be penalized with a fine of 200 pesos for each person who does not wear a face mask.”
“We reiterate the call to all citizens and visitors to only leave home for essential trips and that if you take care of yourself, we all take care of each other.”
