The Eagle Pass Youth Sports Center is scheduled to re-open on June 8 after being closed down since the month of March.
The re-opening will be done in phases.
The EPYSC Board of Commissioners met on Monday, June 1st and discussed their options and voted to reopen the center starting on Monday, June 8.
The EPYS Center will follow a 3 part phased reopening.
The first phase will limit sizes of classes to 5 persons and the trainer.
There will be a mandatory registration of all persons who wish to participate in any activities. There will be a short orientation before the beginning of any activities for both parents and participants.
The EPYSC will have mandatory face masks for all trainers and highly recommended, but optional use for participants. There will also be temperature screenings and disinfectant available throughout the center. Along with mandatory hand washing, distancing and disinfection of all equipment.
They will continue monitoring the situation and accordingly begin to increase the number of youth allowed to participate at any given time.
