Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced on Monday that bars across the State can begin re-opening their establishments on Friday. These openings will be under the 25% capacity restrictions.
Under his newest order, Abbott will allow bars, wine tasting rooms, craft breweries and bowling alleys to re-open after being shut down for 60 days.
Gov. Abbott also expanded restaurant capacities to 50% beginning on Friday as well.
Outdoor seating at bars and restaurants are not subjected to the occupancy limitations as long as there is enough space to keep patrons at least 6 feet apart.
Youth Sport camps and sports leagues will be allowed to begin once again starting on May 31st.
Spectators will be allowed as long as all social distancing measures are followed.
The community is reminded these are orders of the state and not local orders.
