Public Officials announced that as of Wednesday, April 15 there are no new positive cases for COVID-19 in our community.
Maverick County Judge David Saucedo and Eagle Pass Mayor Luis Sifuentes held their daily press conference in which they also detailed that there have been another 5 individuals who have been tested. Judge Saucedo also stated that there were another 5 individuals who had tested negative for the COVID-19 virus.
Up to now there have been 295 tested, 268 negative and 11 positive. 3 have fully recovered. There are 16 pending cases. Both officials stated that they expect that about 3 other individuals could be put on the fully recovered list by the end of the week once a second round of testing is performed and their recovery is verified by state health officials.
