The gift of giving is such a heart filled
gesture especially during the holiday season.
On Wednesday, December 18, employees of the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers visited over 300 students from Robert E. Elementary with a Christmas surprise.
Earlier during the month school personnel including Principal Blanca Musquiz asked the kids to write out a letter to Santa with three wishes.
Employees at the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers got together and decided to try to make all those wishes a reality.
Christmas for over 300 kids would come early as Santa Claus and FDRMC employees would show up with plenty of gifts on Wednesday.
Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers Marketing Director Lourdes M. Perez and Staff, Principal Musquiz and Robert E. Lee Elementary personnel would surprise all the students with an amazing kind gesture that they will never forget.
Mrs. Perez addressed the kids and told them that FDRMC employees had heard of their wish list and that they were there to make a majority of them a reality.
The kids were ecstatic with joy as FDRMC and Robert E Elementary staff called out the kids names one by one to give them their gifts.
The majority of the kids received up to three gifts, one for every wish they had written out to Santa.
Some children even received I Phone, electronics, clothing and most importantly what their heart desired for Christmas.
“The employees of FDRMC were proud to be Christmas Angels to all the students at Robert E. Lee Elementary School. Our employees donated almost 900 gifts to these students. We are so proud of our employees for their generosity and for brightening their lives during the holidays,” posted FDRMC.
Principal Musquiz would like to thank everyone at Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers for making her kids wishes a reality.
