The March 2020 election has drawn three other candidates looking to vie for the Texas House District 74 State Representative seat.
At this point the crowded field will include three Democrats and two Republicans who will look to be one of the two candidates to make it to the November General election.
Locally, Attorney Heriberto “Eddie” Morales, Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu are both vieing to win the Democratic Primary and be the one to take on the Republican nominee in November.
Joining the Democratic candidates is Del Rio City Councilman Rowland Garza who registered his candidacy on Monday, December 9.
The two Republican Party candidates are farmer/small business owner Luke Brown from Reeves county. The 2nd Republican Candidate is former Del Rio Mayor Robert Garza.
One of these individuals will be going up against whoever wins the Democratic nomination.
