United Medical Centers Chief Executive Officer William M. Worrell would like to invite the community to celebrate National Health Centers week at UMC on Wednesday August 7 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and in the afternoon from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
‘We will be having a health fair, and medical checkups and vital information free to the public. And the event to be held in the afternoon will have services for our kids including dental screenings and other services as well. We invite you to come out and celebrate with us as a community and take advantage of the services that are to be provided, ‘ said Worrell.
Worrell emphasized the importance of a healthy community and urges anyone to access the necessary medical services in our area.
“We also want to invite the community to UMC to consult with our medical staff. It is of great importance that you visit your physician’s and give yourself the time to be on top of your well-being,” added Worrell.
United Medical Centers is the largest primary health care provider in the area with over 16,000 patients accessing their medical care on yearly basis.
