The City of Eagle Pass held their annual City Christmas Celebration and Awards Banquet on Saturday, December 15, and named the 2018 Director and employees of the year.
During the event Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey English Cantu thanked all city employees for their hard work and dedication throughout the entire 2018 year, recognizing city employees for their daily contributions in providing public services to the community.
The highlight of the night was the presentation of this year’s City of Eagle Pass Director and Employees of the Year Award.
Mayor Cantu presented the Director of the Year Award to Eagle Pass Public Works Director Jesse Sandoval.
Sandoval accepted the award and thanked the city his staff and employees for their hard work and dedication.
Rodriguez accepted the award and thanked all city employees, administration and city council for their dedicated service and making a positive contribution to the community.
The City Council administration also presented employee of the year awards to Merary Diaz from the EP Bridge System, EPFD Jose Garza, III, Ricardo Cardona Public Library, Juan R. Cuellar from Parks & Recreation, Sarah Garcia from the Taz Office, and Ruben Jimenez from the Public Works Department.
