A 47-year-old subject was arrested by the Eagle Pass Police Department on December 10, 2018 at approximately 12:49 a.m for numerous charges and a federal warrant.
Information provided by the Eagle Pass Police Department states that officers responded to an apartment complex within the 2400 block of El Indio Highway in reference to a possible disturbance
Upon arriving at the scene. officers were directed to an apartment where they spoke with a male subject who provided a name which resulted to be fictitious.
Upon determining the true identity of the subject, it was discovered that he had an active Federal warrant for his arrest.
Police Department officials attempted to arrest the subject who resisted but was subdued and taken into custody.
The male adult was identified as Ramiro Valles.
Valles was later presented before a magistrate where he was charged with resisting arrest and failure to properly identify himself and remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of a $4,500 Bond and a detainer order from the U.S. Marshals Service for the outstanding warrant.
