DPS responds to fatal rollover accident on HWY 57

The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a rollover accident on Saturday, July 14, 2018 on Highway 57 in proximity to La Pryor Texas, Zavala County at around 8:00 AM.

Tragically the one vehicle rollover accident resulted in the death of three individuals including two young juveniles and another person being taken to a hospital in serious condition.

Preliminary accident reports state that the driver of a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban lost control of the vehicle running off the road for some reason and then overcorrected the vehicle causing it to rollover various times. The vehicle ended up back on the road.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the individuals who died in the accident. The deceased were the driver 56 -year-old- Prudenciana Estrada Campuzano, 16 -year-old Joe Edoardo Estrada and 17 year-old Martiza Allesanrda Estrada Gomez all from Marble Falls, Texas. The victims were all pronounce dead at the scene of the accident.

The individual taken to a Laredo hospital is a male adult.
