This year marks the 6 year anniversary of the death of Border Patrol Agent James R. Dominguez who was killed in 2012 near Brackettville, Texas.
During that time Dominguez had stopped to assist a motorist who had a flat tire. Dominguez rendered aid to the individual and was picking up tire debris from the highway when he was struck from behind by an F350 pickup.
Dominguez was 41 years old when he lost his life serving his fellow man and country.
The U.S Government and Border Patrol installed a memorial marker on U.S. 90 near Brackettville, Texas back in 2013 to commemorate and honor Dominguez’s service and life. That marker still remains and is a reminder of Dominguez commitment to serve.
Dominguez was a twelve year veteran of the Border Patrol.
