EPFD responded to MVA on Veterans and El Indio

The Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Monday February 19 at the intersection of Veterans Boulevard and El Indio highway. Reports state that three people were injured with one of them suffering serious injuries.

According to witness accounts a Gran Marquis vehicle was driving out of Oreillys Auto Parts when it was violently struck by another vehicle. Eagle Pass Fire department EMT’s arrived at the scene of the accident to assist the injured parties which were taken to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center emergency room for treatment.

EPFD Chief Manuel Mello stated that one of the individuals involved had serious injuries and would have to be taken to a hospital in San Antonio for further treatment
