Former Music Teacher sentenced to 5 Years Probation for attempting to have relations with a minor

Isaac Lee Aldaco a former music teacher in the Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District was sentenced to a lenient 5 years of probation for charges of attempting to have an intimate relationship with a juvenile.

Under a plea bargain Aldaco appeared in a State District Del Rio Court room where his attorney was able to eliminate his 2 original felony sex charges involving elementary students including charges of indecency with a child and having an improper relationship with a student.

Aldaco at some point in time had admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Aldaco was an exemplary Teacher while in the Del Rio District even receiving Teacher of the year back in 2015.

Aldaco, 34, was originally charged with indecency with a child and having an improper relationship with a student and had been in a Bexar County Jail under a $275,000 bond.

Investigations into the issue began in January 2016 after he abruptly resigned from the San Felipe-Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District.

It’s reported that Aldaco was allegedly involved in four separate incidents at Dr. Lonnie Green Elementary School, where he worked as a fine arts teacher.

During Tuesday’s sentencing there was a group of protesters who were not happy with the leniency being shown by the Judge
