“This is a resolution for a public hearing it’s on the use assumption and capital improvements that we have presented. We just haven’t gone through the public hearing and that is what we’re here today for.” said Barrera

Legal Counsel Heriberto Morales then presented the council with the resolution seeking for the action being requested by the EPWWS.

“All this is doing is just for you to have a hearing so you can hear from the general public or anyone who has an interest if they’re in favor or against it. And if they want additional information Mr. Barrera and his team should be able to provide it and address any questions that they might have. They can also do a short synopsis of all the land assumptions and capital improvements plans are going to entail.” said Morales

The City Council approved the resolution and a set date for the public hearing to be held on December 5, with a second option of December 12, 2017 at 5:30pm at the Eagle Pass City Hall.
