Breast Cancer is one of the most prevalent types of Cancers detected in Maverick County. What has changed from years ago to now is the survival rate and how early detection will increase the chances of survival even more than ever before. This is why it’s so important for women to perform self examinations and have the recommended mammograms at a certain age as well.
The event will feature informative conversations on the disease and guest speakers who will elaborate on their experiences or treatments that are crucial to surviving Cancer. There will also be multiple vendor booths and other organized attractions during the entire event.
There are hundreds of women who have fought a battle with Breast Cancer in our community. Ask yourself this very important question. Do I know someone who has or has had this dreaded disease and the answer is more than likely, yes. So you are invited to come out and learn more and help us bring awareness to one of the leading Cancers in our community.
