Garcia states that the group continues presenting information at different gatherings and schools in our areas to keep pushing out the importance of safety behind the wheel/ “This is a program that raises awareness of the top 5 risks that teens face behind the wheel such as driving at night, speeding and street racing, distraction such as cell phones, not wearing a seat belt and drinking and driving. ” said Garcia
“We do many program activities in order to bring awareness to the problem including school presentations and other activities throughout the year to help our peers.” “We’re trying to spread out the message about safety, saving lives, buckling up because it’s very important. A lot of people don’t take into consideration that it just takes three seconds and those three seconds could save your life.” concluded Garcia
