The Eleventh Annual Back to School Health and Social Services Fair will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017, from 10:A.M. to 1 P.M. at the City of Eagle Pass International Center for Trade, located at 3295 Bob Rogers Drive, in Eagle Pass, Texas.
During the event various organizations will be offering free health screenings, school supplies, and important information regarding local health and social programs available in the community.
Diana Sanchez event coordinator from South Texas Rural Health announces that this year they will also be providing free immunizations for the first time. Parents must bring immunization records.
“We will be having free immunizations but the parents must bring an immunization record.” said Sanchez “There will be over 50 agencies providing services during this day and the community is invited to come on by.”
Many services are provided during this event including free haircuts, sports physicals, free school supplies, back packs, oral dental screenings, health screenings as agencies donate their time and efforts for the betterment of our community and children.
“The public is invited to attend the July 27th event.”
Senator Carlos Uresti’s offices will be participating in the event and will be giving out free school backpacks for all the children
